Hardscapes are the permanent or semi-permanent features added to the landscape.  Hardscapes provide multiple functions in the landscape.  Walkways, retaining walls, patios, outdoor kitchens, etc. provide beauty, places for entertainment plus utilitarian needs. We can do it all for you.

When thinking about your hardscapes, try to keep a congruent theme.  Think of the landscape as one area not a collection of items. Individually a red-brick house, pink keystone retaining wall, flagstone patio & crosstie raised beds serve their purpose. Collectively, they are a design nightmare.

Hardscapes aid in turning landscapes into outdoor rooms for entertaining. Hardscapes will make your yard distinctive and unique. Neighbors will be envious.

Retaining Walls

Retaining walls help create more useable space.  We can grade a sloped or uneven space to make it smooth and level. Then the cutaway is secured with a retaining wall.

We use a variety of materials for our walls: timber retaining walls, keystone retaining walls, block retaining walls. If you need work at your weekend getaway, we also do lake walls.  Our stone work is beautiful. Whether it is a patio or a stacked stone retaining wall, stone adds great texture and interest in the landscape.
